Me and my son were guests at Hillsborough 1993 lunch etc., My son who was 10 at the time was loving all the build up but then as we kicked off and Waddle tore us a new one 5-0 for feck sake.

To be fair he was nearly a hero. I remember that shot that hit the inside of the post just before half time against Germany. Plus, he hit one from the halfway line that the German keeper tipped onto the bar, but the referee had already blown his whistle for another offence. Lineker reckons he joined Spurs partly to play with Waddle and yet they sold him a few weeks later!

Last time I saw Chris was on telly Saturday night when I watched Cov beat Spurs in the 87 cup final on The Big Match revisited.....
